Arriving in Port Grimaud Our journey began as we arrived at Port Grimaud, and the first thing that struck us was the sight of the colorful houses and boats lining the canals. Unlike any other place in the region, Port Grimaud is a haven for boaters like us. We took our little dinghy in from the anchorage and docked right next to the place we stopped for lunch; Lily’s. The meal was healthy and fabulous!
The Canals The best way to experience Port Grimaud is by boating through the intricate network of canals. As we meandered through the canals, it was like we'd stepped a little bit into a Disney ride. Each corner provided a new perspective, revealing a different angle of the town's beauty.
The Heart of the Town The central square of Port Grimaud is a hub of activity. Here, we found a delightful array of cafes and restaurants to savor local atmosphere. While enjoying a leisurely meal, the view of the canals was a mesmerizing backdrop.
The Charm of Port Grimaud by Electric Boat Visitors can take a boat ride along the canals in a group tour or by renting a small electric boat. We were lucky enough to have our own boat, so we had to wikipedia the history that other visitors were given by their guide.
Port Grimaud's Beaches Beyond its canals and charming streets, Port Grimaud is also home to several beautiful beaches. While we didn’t take the time to relax on golden sands since laundry and mistral prep was on our to-do list, it did look lovely.
